The Virtual Technology Cluster Group (“The VTC Group”), is pleased to announce that PA Consulting Group, the global consulting, technology and innovation firm, has agreed to join the Lockheed Martin sponsored Virtual Technology Cluster (“Lockheed Martin VTC”) as a Tier 2 co-sponsor with immediate effect. This news follows on from EMC, the international tech giant, which joined earlier in 2016 as a Tier 2 co-sponsor.
The VTC Group is an organisation which enables major multi-national companies to attract emerging and disruptive technology innovators into their supply chain, through lead or co-sponsorship of a Virtual Technology Cluster (“VTC”).
The Lockheed Martin VTC, the first VTC launched in March 2015, was designed to aid the development of national security capabilities and support economic growth by connecting entrepreneurs, policymakers, advisers, investors and buyers. Each constituent of the ecosystem benefits from ease of communication and cooperation, which in turn dramatically improves the chance of revenue-driven collaboration between entrepreneurs and established corporates.
Elliot Rose, cyber security expert, PA Consulting Group stated:
“Organisations increasingly rely on cyberspace to drive efficiency and business growth. With the ever-increasing number of cyber-attacks, building trust and confidence in data and technology has never been more critical. PA has extensive experience in nurturing new ideas and developing innovative cyber solutions for clients in some of the most challenging industries, including energy and utilities, defence and national security, and financial services. We pride ourselves on challenging conventional thinking and delivering exceptional results that have a lasting impact for our clients and their customers. Being part of the Lockheed Martin VTC will help us in our continued development of innovative and effective cyber capability for our clients.”
Auriol Stevens, CEO of The VTC Group, added:
“We are delighted to welcome PA, a global consulting, technology and innovation firm to the Lockheed Martin VTC. The addition of PA to the Lockheed Martin VTC demonstrates how we are bringing organisations together to deliver real impact and tangible results to both parties. The Lockheed Martin VTC continues to be a great success and we are now seen as the go-to organisation for high growth cyber security technology companies looking to grow their businesses and compete globally.
“The VTC Group remains focused on replicating this success across a number of other similar technology clusters looking at different sectors, and anticipates making further announcements in due course.”
